Privacy Policy

Overview

PhlatFile is a concert poster collection app built by Steven Bartmann. Your privacy matters — we collect only what's necessary to make the app work and we never sell your data.

Data We Collect

• Email address — used for authentication (magic link sign-in). We do not send marketing emails.
• Photos & camera — with your permission, you can use your device's camera to photograph posters, or upload existing photos. These poster photos are stored so you can manage your collection. Photos are linked to your account and are not shared with other users unless you list a poster for sale or trade.
• User ID — a unique identifier assigned by our authentication provider (Supabase) to associate your data with your account.

How We Use Your Data

All data collected is used solely for app functionality: signing you in, storing your collection, and displaying your public profile if you choose to make posters visible. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or tracking across other apps or websites.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel — app hosting.
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered poster recognition. Uploaded poster images are sent to the Anthropic API for analysis. Anthropic does not use this data for training.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at steviebartmann@gmail.com.
