Notes

Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Morrison — “His goal had become to be an echoThe type of sound that floats aroundAnd then back down like a featherBut in the deep chrome canyons of the loudest ManhattansNo one could hear himOr anythingSo he slept on a mountainIn a sleeping bag underneath the starsHe would lie awake and count themThe gray fountain spray of the great Milky WayWould never let him die alone.”- Jeff Tweedy
