The Psychedelic Shop, San Francisco — The Psychedelic Shop was located in the Haight-Ashbury district and opened on January 3, 1966. Brothers Ron and Jay Thelin opened the shop and began selling psychedelic books and posters, hippie clothing, and drug paraphernalia.
