Notes

Avalon Ballroom, San Francisco — This poster promoted a fundraising dance organized by the students of Lick-Wilmerding High School. At the time, Lick-Wilmerding was a private, non-tuition school that relied on events like this to stay afloat. The dance was entirely student-run, with proceeds managed by the SFS—“Students for Students.”
